Tank compatibility[edit]

This fish will be peaceful towards other peaceful similar-sized fish. Males can be aggressive towards one another however.

Diet[edit]

Will prefer live/frozen foods like bloodworm and daphnia as well as high quality pellet and flake.

Feeding regime[edit]

Feed sparingly once or twice a day.

Environment specifics[edit]

This fish requires a spacious tank which is mature well filtered without too much in the way of current. The tank should not be brightly lit, or at least have floating plants, and the décor should consist of roots and bogwood within which to hide as well as some open swimming space.
